Betclic Everest to Re-enter Belgian Market
Betclic Everest will soon re-enter the market in Belgium following four years of being excluded under the country’s online gambling licensing laws after the Belgian Gambling Commission awarded the group licensing for online sports and casino slot betting on a Belgian domain.be website.
After operating in a grey-market fashion the company pulled out of Belgium a few years ago because of changing laws in the country.
Due to the fact that digital enterprises are required to have a land-based presence in terms of Belgian online betting laws, the Betclic brand has partnered with Pres Carats Sports SA, a Belgian land-based arcade operator.
It is hoped that the Malta licensed operator will re-commence its services in Belgium within the next couple of months.
