Playtech Snaps Up Quickspin
Playtech has brokered a deal worth up to €50 million to acquire Swedish games studio Quickspin. The company will pay a maximum of six times Quickspin’s EBITDA in 2018, subject to a cap of €50 million.
Playtech snaps up Quickspin with an initial payment of €24 million for 100% of Quickspin’s shares on a cash-free/debt-free basis and will pay the remaining amount of €26 on an earn-out basis that will be based on Quickispin’s EBITDA earnings in 2017 and 2018.
Quickspin’s founders, Daniel Lindberg, Mats Westerlund and Joachim Timmermans will remain at the company for a minimum period of three years from completion.
