Kindred Group Gets Green Light to Acquire 32Red Plc
Earlier this month, the Kindred Group (formerly Unibet), announced its intention to acquire 32Red Plc online gambling group. This week, the company got the final go-ahead to pay the GBP 176 million after the Gibraltar gambling authorities gave the acquisition its blessing.
In addition, the majority of 32Red’s shareholders accepted the offer, allowing Kindred to report that its offer had become ‘unconditional’.
Kindred will re-register 32Red as a private limited company, before integrating 32Red’s assets (including sports betting, poker and casino) to become part of its own portfolio.
