888 Holdings and Caesars Interactive Sign Deal - The Nevada Control Board recently approved a deal between casino operator Caesars Interactive Entertainment and online gambling provider 888 Holdings.The agreement between the two parties will give Dragonfish, 888’s B2B subsidiary and Caesars Interactive Entertainment an opportunity to extend their UK license to reach customers in the U.S.

Bwin.Party defends Megaupload

Bwin.Party Digital has announced the termination of its advertising contract with the recently indicted Megaupload.com following the arrest of Kim Dotcom, founder of Megaupload.com.Mr Dotcom was arrested together with a number of executives of his company and charged with copyright infringement, money laundering and more.

According to the indictment, Party Gaming, one of the merged parties which forms part of the Bwin.Party group, paid Megaupload.com in excess of $3 million to advertise its online poker site.

Bwin.Party claims that it was totally unaware that the group was engaging in illegal activities.
