However, although it took a fairl bit of time since the beginning - a year and a half to be more precise - it's been a fun experiment and I've done alright out of it too!

Starting with my initial £50 and a matching £50 in Intercasino, one of the leading online casinos, I withdrew £200 to my account and played for hours.  Exactly what I set out to do!  Well, maybe not exactly as I didn't bet on being able to withdraw the £200, or was it £250? 

I will, someday, total up the time I spent playing at Intercasino for this experiment but as we go forward, I don't intend to record the playing time as intently.  At times I was too focused on the playing time and it spoiled the experience of playing online a little.  After all, online casinos are a great way to relax and kick-back a little without the worry of time, so long as you keep an eye on the cash situation!

So where to next in my own personal chill out and kick back time playing online casino games?  Well, you'll have to read the next installment to find out.  It's not going to be far away either!  Happy playing!

We've spent a lot of time recently with our casino reviews and adding gambling news on a regular basis along with poker and bingo updates that there just wasn't enough time n the day to compelete this bang for your buck section of the site.

However, today, I finally decided to do something about it and see where I can spend my last few pounds to complete this long-running Intercasino gaming review. 

I'll be quicker in future, honest!

I started out with £7.87 and although I want to get as much playing time as possible, I'm determined to complete this first casino as soon as possible to get on with the next one.  Even better a casino has given me a £25 starter to try out their casino, so I may as well use it for this casino blog and see how far I get with it.  More on who it is later.

Anyway, at the moment, I'm really enjoying playing slots so I'm starting off with a 9-line slot called, The Oracle. 

The Oracle is a 5 reel machine with bets ranging from 5 pence up to £5 per line, per spin.  I always like to play all the paylines so I'm going for 5 pence per line costing 45 pence per spin.

The slot is decent enough to look at although it's not going to win any awards for design.  It's got a 'traditional feel' to the game due to it not being too flashy.

Can I say 'traditional' when referring to a slot that probably reflects the norm a couple of years ago?  Oh well, I guess I can for two reasons.  One, the internet is moving so fast, traditional was only a couple of years ago and secondly, I can write what I want – that's what's good about having a website.

Upon starting to play, I soon realise that the sound effects in The Oracle aren't going to win any awards either but I suppose they are functional which is all that's required and I'm not in the mood for anything too strenuous on the ears as well as the eyes. 

To be fair, the game wasn't as bad as I had imagined and I got about 10 minutes play for my miserly £7 so I wasn't too disappointed.  The Oracle gave me quite a few small payouts, nothing to really write home about, but enough for an extra spin or two.

As normal, I played the King Kong game, with value in mind and so I played the slots full 25 paylines but with a nominal amount on each line.  In this case, 2 pence making each spin cost 50 pence. 

I started with £26.89 in my account and with the King Kong slot game giving lots of smaller wins, I made for a nice playing experience.  Watch out with all slots that pay out smaller amounts often though as your balance can deplete rather rapidly whist you think you're actually gaining.  This is pretty much the same with most video slots nowadays so just keep one eye on the bank and you'll be fine.

I played for about 10 minutes but unfortunately didn't progress far, I would have liked to see the bonus game but I ran out of time, and my money is low with now only £9 left. 

I'll be writing up a full review of the King Kong Slot soon where I will play through to the bonus game a few times to get a true feel for the game.  At the moment however, I'll have to say that the King Kong slot game looks good but he hasn't roared for me much, yet.

At InterCasino, there is a £2 minimum bet which is placed as an ante prior to the hand being dealt.  After the deal, you can see all of your cards but only one of the dealers.  You then decide whether or not to throw away your hand and lose the ante bet you placed or continue with the hand whereby you have to place another bet, twice as large as the ante on the table. 

When the cards are all revealed, if you beat the dealers hand, and he has a qualifying hand, then you get paid back at the relevant odds applied to both your ante bet and also your additional bet.  If you don't beat the dealer then you lose everything.  If you win but the dealer doesn't have a qualifying hand, which is Ace / King or higher, then you get double your ante back but nothing extra for the additional bet. 

Caribbean Stud Poker strategy is easy, after placing your bet and the cards are dealt, if you get a pair or more, bet.  If you don't, thrown away your hand and along with it your ante bet.

A bonus casino side bet is available for £1 extra which pays £50 for a flush up to 100% of the jackpot for a Royal Flush, the jackpot when I was playing was over £149,000. 

You have to watch when playing Caribbean Stud Poker though as your money goes quick if you don't get a winning hand for a while and it can rapidly deplete your cash.  Saying that, a few winning hands can pay off quite well, so you just have to watch.

The best hand I won was a full house, paying out at 7 to 1 which paid out £36 for my £2 minimum ante bet and additional £4 bet.

I was doing well for a while and was up to £84 from a starting balance of £42.  However, I hit a losing streak and couldn't catch any good hands, leaving me with £26 in my casino account after I left the game.  I played for about 15 minutes. This seems to be the way Caribbean Stud Poker has always gone for me and with the house edge being 5.316%, the odds when playing Caribbean Stud Poker are firmly in the casinos favour.  However, it's one of those game I just have to play every so often because I think it's one of the most enjoyable casino table games to play.

The game itself has 20 paylines spread over 5 reels and, as you can probably guess, the symbols are fruit with a few cherry trees and numbers thrown in for good measure. 

I played for 1 pence per spin on each payline making it 20 pence a game, a nice and reasonable amount for the casino player looking for value although the high rollers can bet up to £2 per spin on each payline making it £20 a spin.  Too much for this value casino gambling experiment!

A good 10 minutes of spinning the reels saw me another £5 down but it's an enjoyable game and one which I wouldn't mind coming back to but I'd like to switch from playing slots to a table game for a while.

The first game in line for some playing time was the Sub-Mariner slot game, another game based on the Marvel slots range that's becoming some of the most popular games at Intercasino.  First though a quick update to the casino was installed which makes Intercasino very nice looking and slick.  The new theme is based on the Web 2.0 type styles you see nowadays and is very clean and modern.

Anyway, back to the Sub-Mariner slot.  As with all of the Marvel slot range of games, it looks very nice with animated graphics to the sides and top of the main game playing screen.  There is Sub-Mariner  diving around and at the top of the game screen there is a feast of battleships bobbing around.  The sounds are quite delectable too!

As with all the games in this casino gambling blog experiment, I stuck with low stakes but as I like to play all the paylines on a slot machine, I played for a two pence a line making each bet 50 pence to go. Real value for money players can play for as little as a penny a line.  As a reminder to those who haven't read for a while, I started out with £68.55 in the old InterCasino piggy bank.

I played the Sub-Mariner slot for 60 spins but found I wasn't really connecting with the game.  It looks good and plays ok but it's not a Super Hero I'm really familiar with  and I think when playing the Marvel slot games, you have to connect or be a fan of the heroes before you get the most out of the games.  I left it after 10 minutes and my account is showing a loss of £20.  The payouts come fairly thick and fast but they are of very low value so most of the time a win doesn't cover the amount wagered over the 25 paylines. 

I'm sure the Sub-Mariner slot will appeal to somebody more familiar with this hero though and the 3 seperate progressive jackpots are always on hand to spice it up.

To start you have to choose your Street Fighter substitute character.  It's this character that you use to fught with in the free games feature.  I chose Ryu, a martial arts clad hardman.  There are 5 characters to choose from.  They are Ryu, Sagat, Chunli, Ken, and Guile.

The slot itself is a decent enough affair but nothing startling.  I played for ages, well 30 minutes before getting the free games feature and the chance to battle Bison. Just as well the feature came up really as I was using my cash quickly and not getting many returns.  In fact I went from £40 down to £4 before the feature hit. 

The Street Fighter feature is where the game comes into its own and sees your character and Bison squaring up to each other and when the reels spin you, or Bison, attack, depending on where the reels ended up.  I took a few big blows early on but then the tide turned and I started to get the better of Bison, eventually knocking him out!

I ended up cashing out about £57 playing Street Fighter, after my free game feature, so at least I got a return on my money.  I played for a little longer but never hit the feature again.  All in all, I would have preferred to hit the feature more often, even if it's a lower payout as that's what really makes the Street Fighter game but still I ended up £10 for my efforts so not too bad.  I may well chance by this game again later.

There's some pretty gruesome baddie animations in there as well as Superman.

The Spiderman game has 25 paylines, and I like to play them all.  As a rule it is always best to play all the paylines, even if you have to reduce the value of your stake to control the gambling levels.  I played for 2 pence per line to keep the costs down and this made each spin worth 50 pence, about right for the value casino gambler.

Hitting the bonus game gives you the choice of taking the Spiderman free spins or the Venom feature which sounded much more fun to me. 

In the Venom feature, you have to guide Spiderman through the city streets to find venom encountering other crimes along the way which you will be paid for as you clear up the mess.  Go down a dead end and you've lost.

I actually saved a Grandma, stopepd a shooting winning me £6.50 then hit lucky and managed to destroy venom which netted me another £50.  Talk about a lucky break, just when my balance was about £40 and  going down as well. 

A few spins later and Spiderman swung across my screen taking one reel with him.  This netted another £23!  Excellent!

I continued playign the Spiderman slot for a while, I played for about half an hour altogeter but didn't have much more lucky apart from small wins.  I ended up about £60 playign the Spiderman slot and as I've done before when I win a little, and as the whole point of this section of the Doolallys site is to see how I fare overall when looking for value of entertainment rather than massive wins, I withdrew £50 to my debit card. 

Spiderman is one of the best Marvel Slots in my mind although Iron Man is getting a lot of attention just now with the new movie release.
