I like the casino version of Texas Hold'em anyway and have been playing it a lot at Betfred Casino along with some Blackjack and live Roulette games.  It's a fun game and the addition of a live dealer makes it a very worthwhile experience - even if I lost a pound or three.

I've also been playing a lot of slots - as usual.  The most interesting one I've seen and played is the new Fishing With Buddies multi-player slot game.  It's really fun and if you hit it right you'll cash out with a lot of money but be warned - this game can seriously gobble your cash so set a strict budget when playing or you may regret it!

The new Egyptian themed game is good too but I forget the name right now.

One of the nice things with Betfred Casino is the free bonus spins Fred dishes out to customers on a regular basis.  This week, Betfred dropped a coupld of pounds into my account to try out the new Iron Man 2 slot game just released.  

Never one to look a gift horse in the mouth, I got on down there and downloaded the game - which only takes a matter of seconds.  It's a really nice looking game that plays well.  The graphics are bright and colourful although I've never quite liked these new video slots where some of the symbols are two reels high.  Still, little to worry about.

As you'll see from the screenshot Pachinko is pretty much like a cross between a slot and a pinball machine.  It's one of the few pachinko games available to play online and is available in online casinos, like the one I'm currently playing this in, BetFred Casino.

Although I've never played a real pachinko machine, I suspect this is pretty much the same thing. 

I've seen plenty of photos and a video of a real game being played in Japanese Packinko Parlors and this looks like it operates in exactly the same way, just in a flat screen format.  

Players buy and play with small silver balls which are fed into the top of the machine.  The balls then fall down a series of pins, either into a losing slot or a catcher slot where an amount of balls is returned to the player.  Obviously the aim is to gain more balls than you lose.Get a ball in the catcher and you'll also see the slot machine part of the game spin into action.  

The slot has three winning permutations and if two identical numbers appear on the win line then a mini game is played out of which Dolphin's Paradise has 5.
