Gabi Campos to leave Poker Stars

Chief Executive Officer of the online poker room, Poker Stars, Gabi Campos, has announced that he will be leaving his position as from the beginning of February, 2012.

Campos was named Chief Executive Officer of Poker Stars in July 2010, after having served as Managing Director of 888 Holdings’ B2B platform, Dragonfish.

There are speculations that Campos may return to his former role as Managing Director of Dragonfish.

Campos is the third major player to leave the site with Thomas Kresner, director of the European Poker Tour having announced that he was leaving last year and John Duthie, a member of Team PokerStars Pro also announcing his departure this month. Karma: good 1 bad 1
