Purple Lounge ends Contract with Microgaming Network

Online gaming brand, Purple Lounge Poker, has announced that it will be moving its poker room from its traditional Microgaming network to the Entraction network.

Swedish based Entraction was recently acquired by International Gaming Technology.

Purple Lounge will be joining operators that include Victor Chandler at Entraction from Monday, January, 16, 2012.

The management at Purple Lounge Poker revealed that the online poker industry is an ever changing and fast evolving one and Purple Lounge is also evolving.  He revealed that “moving network becomes a crucial part of this process.”

There are still many poker sites operating on Microgaming’s network.  Microgaming oversees over 40 Microgaming poker sites and currently ranks among the top ten poker sites in terms of traffic when combined as a group.

The Purple Lounge group will no longer be in a position to accept players from Canada, Estonia and Russia once it moves on the Entraction network. Karma: 3 0
