Microgaming Games Making their Way to Global Lotteries

Betware, which supplies games to state and national lotteries around the globe, will soon be offering 85 Microgaming brands to complement its portfolio, thanks to a lucrative new deal signed between the two groups.

“We are very proud and excited to be licensed to sell and market Microgaming’s casino games to growing markets,” said Stefán Hrafnkelsson, the Chief Executive Officer of Betware. “This agreement significantly expands our product offering, and provides our customers with a great opportunity to leverage on the fantastic success of the Microgaming brand.”

Some of Betware’s customers include Denmark’s Danske Spil and the Canadian British Columbia Lottery Corporation.

Paddy Power Seeks Further Online Expansion

In a bid to stay ahead of the competition in the world of online gambling, Paddy Power has appointed a non executive director to its Board with plenty of experience in the field of internet marketing.

William Reeve made a global name for himself by launching one of the largest DVD rental services in Europe, and will undoubtedly provide plenty of advice to the Irish gambling group.

“I am very pleased that William has agreed to join the Board. William's understanding of the online market place and his track record of delivering consumer concepts via the Internet will be invaluable to Paddy Power as it continues to grow its online businesses,” said the Chairman of Paddy Power, Nigel Northridge.

Paddy Power have had great success online with Paddy Power Poker and Paddy Power Casino of late, with both contrributing to the group's overall profits.

Net Entertainment Heads into Italian Market with Intralot

A new joint venture will see Intralot and Net Entertainment join forces to supply online casino games to the growing Italian gaming market. The venture will operate under the INTRALOT umbrella and will combine the CasinoModule software package with Intralot’s advanced technology platform.

“We welcome Net Entertainment as our on line casino partner in Italy. The CasinoModule will ensure that INTRALOT will offer a globally leading casino product to our player base,” said George Zenzefilis, Director of INTRALOT.
