Record Breaking Lottery Jackpot Winner Found - After a nail-biting weekend that saw Sweden’s record breaking lottery jackpot go unclaimed, the lucky winner was finally tracked down.

Svenska Spel confirmed that the gaming group had been trying since Saturday to trace the man, a citizen of the south of Sweden, before he finally made contact to claim is prize of 214.6 million kroner (nearly $30 million).  

“We have just come home from a trip and read in the newspapers that you were looking for the winner,” the man said.

“We then went online and checked the numbers, at which point we almost passed out; we lay down on the floor and tried to understand what had happened. Totally unbelievable.”
