Plans to Address EU Online Gambling Issues
The newly elected Internal Marketing Commission for the European Union has said that he will address the ongoing issues facing the online gambling market on the continent. Michel Barnier said that he had plans to draft a green paper that would examine the different views among member states. At present, some countries back the idea of a regulated online gambling industry with free movement of services and operations. Others, however, prefer to retain a monopoly on their gambling industries and limit the entry off foreign operators.
