Aussie Millions Won by Sydney Uni Student

The Aussie Millions, one of the World's most prestigeous poker tournaments has ust been won by University student.

The native Sydney poker player, 23 year old Tyron Krost, has become the newest winner of the prestigious poker tournament, the Aussie Millions.

He beat top players such as Annette Obrestad to take home the title, as well as a prize of $2 million, after fighting his way through a field of 746 players. Krost qualified his way into the tournament after entering a satellite feeder on the Party Poker website.

“It feels like a dream and I don't want to wake up,” said an elated Krost. “$2 million, it's amazing. In total, I spent $700 trying to qualify for a package and I have managed to turn that into $2 million!”
