Ladbrokes Says Si to Online Poker

The Italian gambling regulator, AAMS has given Ladbrokes the green light to start providing online poker tournament services in the reformed Italian poker market.

Ladbrokes will thus be entering a lucrative market that generated revenues of €280 million this year, and hopes to start offering cash poker games and casino services to the Italian market next year as more reforms take place.

“We are committed to expanding the international reach of our online business and Italy is an excellent regulated market opportunity,” said the CEO of Ladbrokes, Christopher Bell. “We hope that further positive regulations in Italy will allow us to further expand our product range by launching cash games in poker, as well as bingo and casino gaming.”
