William Hill in New Sponsorship Deal

The UK gambling group, William Hill, has entered into a lucrative new sponsorship deal that will see its brand name appear across some of the top television networks in Europe.

The group said it has become the official sponsors of the Vuelta a Espana race, one of the three Grand Tours of Europe events, that covers 3,266 km from Holland to Spain.

Ricardo Carioni of William Hill in Spain said that it was an enormous honor for the group to sponsor an event that evokes such passion in the country. “The coverage of La Vuelta is far reaching and provides for strong brand visibility across multiple TV networks right across Europe for three solid weeks,” he said.

“William Hill is a company with more than 75 years of history as the leading betting company within the UK, but the online business has only evolved in recent years and to be associated with La Vuelta is of tremendous pride to us.”
