Pokerstars WCOOP Schedule
PokerStars, one of the world’s most prestigious online poker rooms, has announced the schedule of the long awaited World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP) that is run each year.
The 2009 event, which will run from September 3rd to 21st, boasts a staggering 45 poker events and will give away prizes worth $40 million!
“There are hundreds of exciting tournaments all year round, but nothing compares to the WCOOP – it’s the ‘must play’ event of the year for any poker player,” said press release issued by Poker Stars this week.
“Last year, over 20,000 players came together from across the world to compete in the largest ever online poker event for their chance to become a World Poker Champion.”
