Harrahs goes online - After weeks of speculation, the news about Harrahs going online has finally been released to end lots of speculation.

Las Vegas based gambling giant, Harrah’s Entertainment, announced over the weekend that it will be creating a brand new division with the aim to enter the online gaming world.

Harrah’s Interactive will be lead by Mitch Gerber, the former CEO of Party Gaming.

It is believed that Gerber’s connections with the world of online gaming will help the new division’s expansion plans. “Harrah's is taking a proactive approach toward international and interactive expansion,” said the President and CEO of Harrah’s Entertainment, Gary Loveman.

“It is important we position ourselves to explore new markets as well as new technologies with our best in class brands.”
