UK Studies Underage Gambling
UK National Lottery Commission Studies Underage Gambling - The UK Lottery Commission has requested Ipsos MORI to undertake a unique study to examine the gambling habits of youth in the country.
The study will investigate 9,000 youngsters aged 13 – 15 in the hope of learning how exposed this group is to gambling, and how easy it is for them to access gaming products.
“We want to make sure it is as tough as possible for young people to access National Lottery Products and this research will help us to understand how well the current measures are working,” said the Chief of Research and Analysis for the National Lottery Commission, Ben Haden.
“It will also tell us whether things have changed since the last major study in 2006.”
