US Online Poker Players Have Their Say

The call to legalise and regulate the online poker industry in the United States got a boost this week, after the entries into the White House Citizen’s Briefing Book were publicized.

It was found that online poker ranked 11th overall in the issues that were so important to the US general public that they felt the new president should hear about them.

Poker also ranked top of the technology category in the Briefing Book.

“Poker players around the country are speaking with one voice to protect the game they love, and the White House is hearing that message,” said John Pappas, Executive Director of the Poker Players Alliance (PPA).

Whether your for the US poker player market opening up or not, to get 11th in the overall issues list is worthy of note in such worrying financial and unsettled times.
