WPTClub Announces $2 Millionth Payout

The World Poker Tour Enterprise subscription poker site, WPTClub, announced that it had paid out its two millionth dollar in prize money, going against the current trend of subscription sites having to close their doors due to economic problems.

While sites such as Zosoz Poker and Fleet Street Games closed shop in recent months, WPTClub seems to be going stronger than ever, thanks to exposure through WPT brands, excellent customer service and the chance for players to win a seat into top land poker tournaments such as WPT and WSOP.

Poker subscription sites work differently that conventional online poker sites in that players pay a subscription and take part in poker games for points rather than real money.  Prizes are then won mainly for tangible items rather than money or players use points to enter prize draws.
