Bermuda Premier Considers Online Gambling Legislation.

Bermuda may be the next country to legalize online gambling, after its premier announced that a special study had been commissioned to explore the option.

The local Innovation Group will carry out a $300,000 study to discuss whether online gambling, as well as a state lottery and land based casinos, would help generate much needed funds for the Bermuda government.

Bermuda, which imports 90% of what it consumes and relies mainly on tourism for its income, is seeking ways to increase money and the profitability and advantages of introducing a regulated online gambling industry are hard factors to ignore.
