Playtech CFO Announces Resignation
The current Chief Financial Officer of software giant, Playtech, Guy Emodi, has announced his resignation from the Isle of Man based company. Emodi’s announcement, which comes only days after Playtech signed a multi million dollar agreement with William Hill gambling company, said that he was leaving to pursue other business interests.
“Guy has played an important part in Playtech's recent growth. The board will be sorry to see him leave and we wish him well for the future,” said Roger Withers, the chairman of Playtech.
Playtech announced that it would begin its search for a new Chief Financial Officer, although the company’s current Executive Director, Shuki Barak, will temporarily fill the post. The position has been held by Barak in the past.
William Hill Casino will switch from Cryptologic based gaming software to Playtech is the near future and should be complete by the end of this month. The platform will see William Hill Casino expand and offer more new games on a regular basis.
