There's lots of gambling news hitting the headlines this week, probably more than normal but we've brought you the highlights from a busy week. Live Gaming Systems Launches New Product
The live dealer solutions company, Live Gaming Systems launched a new product at the EIG Expo this week that promises to add a very interesting dimension to this form of online gambling. The company said that its innovative multiple live gambling product would allow players to choose live dealers and games from different locations around the world, while still enjoying online gambling from the comfort of their own homes. The CEO of Live Gaming Systems, Michael Ryan: “We are very excited to showcase our new live game services at the EIG conference. This is an opportunity for the top players in the land based and online gaming industries to see how we effectively marry the two business models in a way that is mutually beneficial, and of course, profitable.”
Bodog Poker Open II Schedule Announced
Online poker players around the globe will be delighted with the recently announced schedule of the second Bodog Poker Open tournament. The $600,000 guaranteed event, which kicks off on September 28th, will comprise fourteen exciting events, including six bounty tournaments with Team Bodog members.
The Main Event on October 5th comes with a $300,000 guaranteed prize pool and there is expected to be a good turn out. "Whoever said sequels are never as good as the original certainly wasn't talking about the Bodog Poker Open II. The first BPO was pretty big, but the BPO II takes it to a whole new level with more events, more money guaranteed, deeper stacks, and they're keeping it fun along the way with bounty tournaments,” said Justin “ZeeJustin” Bonomo, a member of Team Bodog.
Ongame Poker Network Welcomes Another Company Onboard
A new partnership deal has been signed between the Swedish online gambling company, Ongame and the Irish bookmaker, Bruce Betting. Under the terms of the agreement, the Swedish Ongame will provide Bruce Betting’s online poker arm with a suite of poker games for its internet poker site.
“We know what to look for in a new licensee in order to maintain financial growth and stable player equity within our network and Bruce Betting is a company that matches these criteria well. We are delighted to bring them aboard and are looking forward to delivering an unrivalled online poker experience to their clients,” said Kevin O'Neal, speaking for Ongame Poker.
