Sportsbetting Firm Teams with Bulgarian Football Union
Bet at Home, the European facing online sportsbetting company, with the help of the sports marketing agency, Sport Five, has signed a lucrative deal with the Bulgarian Football Union.
The sponsorship contract will see the sportsbetting company’s logo displayed at the Vasil Livski Stadium in Sofia, Bulgria during home qualifying matches for the 2010 FIFA events. Klaus Gruber, speaking for Bet at Home, said: "This cooperation fits very well with our existing sponsorships in Eastern Europe and supports the future advertising activities of Bet at Home in Bulgaria. With the help of the Bulgarian Football Union and Sport Five, we will be able to use this engagement to help increasing the awareness of the Bet-at-Home.com brand."
Belarus Lottery to Go Online
The first site to support online lottery will be launched soon in Belarus, Eastern Europe, following a deal signed between the US based lottery software provider, GTech and a subsidiary company of the Italian Lottomatica, Sport Pari. The latter has obtained a five year license to run Belarus’ first online lottery product.
“This agreement in Belarus is strategically important for GTech as we look to expand our presence in this rapidly developing region and support governments and their licensed operators in regulating the gaming market,” said Jaymin Patel for GTech, “Sport Pari continues to work diligently with GTech on all facets of launching a successful online lottery enterprise.”
Neteller Shows Good First Half Year Profits
Neteller, the internet payment processor that has been fighting hard to regain its former lead spot in the industry, has started to show signs of recovery after it posted good financial results for the first half of the current year.
Total income for the months January – June 2008 (inclusive) were $35.9 million, while pre tax profits were $24.7 million. Industry analysts say that Neteller’s continued efforts to diversify its profits and spread into the Asian and European markets are starting to pay off.
