Gambling In Norway

In a battle for votes in next year’s elections, the second largest political party in Norway, the Fremskrittspartiet (Progress Party) has said that should it come to power, it would end the state monopoly on gambling.

The party’s deputy leader, Per Sandberg said that he supports a policy to get private operators, including casinos, legalized.

“The morality of casinos and gambling is always been used by the red green parties”, said Sandberg.

“The fact is we already have the possibility to gamble online, and the state is a very progressive operator, with Norsk Tipping launching new games all the time.” Karma: good 8 bad 9
