Olympic Tournament at Paddy Power Poker

Just in time to toast the opening of the Beijing Olympic Games, the popular poker site, Paddy Power Poker has launched its PPP Olympics – a week-long poker tournament with a $20,000 prize pool.

Scheduled to begin on Friday – the opening day of the real Olympics – the tournament will incorporate two events a day (No Limit Texas Hold ‘em and Pot Limit Omaha). Three time participants in these weekly events gain automatic access to the $15,000 Gold Medal Freeroll event.

“We're giving away over $20,000 to those players willing to show us that they're at the top of their game and trying to get on the podium. For those who have been in training these last few months, it is now time to grab their spandex, shave all their body hair and reach out for the gold medal!” said Paddy Power Poker on its site.
