William Hill's “Socially Irresponsible” Bingo Ad is pulled by the Advertising Standards Agency.

The tough Advertising Standards Authority in the UK ordered William Hill to remove an advertisement for its online bingo room, calling it “socially irresponsible”.

While William Hill said that the general message of the ad depicting a woman moving the clock hands to get her husband out of the house in the morning so that she could play bingo, was humorous, the ASA did not agree.

It said that the ad condoned behavior that could lead to financial or social harm.
