Holland Casino, the operators who have a gambling monopoly in the Netherlands were disappointed with the Dutch parliament’s upper house decision to veto a proposal to launch the country’s first official online casino.

Political opponents blocked the proposal at a narrow 37-35, despite a ruling in favor of the casino’s launch by the lower house in 2006.

BWin, SportingBet and other major European gambling operators breathed a collective sigh of relief over the decision, however, as it means that they won’t have to share their customer bases with another major player in the field.

So it's no online casino is Holland for now but we're sure Holland Casino will appeal the decision.
