Bwin Launches Fantasy Football Game
Bwin, the industry-leading gambling group, has announced the launch of a new fantasy football game, from the house of the Swedish-based Jadestone. The game, European Manager, will allow players to build and operate their own football team using the best players from the European league in four parallel leagues: Premier League (England), La Liga (Italy), Serie A (Spain) and Bundesliga (Germany).

EU to Probe US Online Gambling Laws
The European Union announced this week that it would start official investigations into the alleged discrimination of foreign gambling operators by the United States Department of Justice. In December, the Remote Gambling Association complained to the European Union that US authorities were targeting and prosecuting foreign providers, while allowing local companies to operate relatively freely. The investigation could last up to eight months and may lead to an official complaint been launched with the World Trade Organization in due time.
