Poker Site Tilts due to DDoS Attacks

Players at popular poker sites this week have been complaining on poker forums about technical problems that they are experiencing.

In particular, posters have noted difficulties in accessing Full Tilt Poker or not being able to complete their tournaments.

It seems that Full Tilt, along with other poker rooms such as Europa Casino and Titan Poker, has been targeted by Distributed Denial of Service attacks (DDos,) according to internet watchdog group the Shadowserver Foundation. These attacks cause a massive jam on the site’s system, essentially blocking regular traffic and causing a slow response.
