APT Purchase Leads to Launch of New Online Poker Rooms

After purchasing the Asian Poker Tour from the Singapore-based Capital Events last week, AsianLogic Limited announced that it would be launching a series of online poker rooms to work off the Playtech iPoker network.

AsianLogic is now to set to manage one of Asia’s most lucrative poker tours, including its online and land-based tournaments, meaning greater traffic generation to the company’s own sites. Capital Events has not left the entire picture however. It has retained strong shareholder rights in the Asian Poker Tour and will manage all the Singapore business surrounding the tour.
