Partouche Goes English
The French online gambling firm has come up with a novel approach to enter the English sportsbetting market ahead of the Euro 2008 tournament. Partouche has created an entire English advertising campaign around one of the greatest French-English soccer stars in the world, Eric Cantona. Cantona, idolised by players on both sides of the channel, made the English Hall of Football Fame in 2002 and is a former Manchester United star. Partouche said that the new site, PartoucheGaming.com would not serve French citizens due to the legislation surrounding online gaming in the country.
