To start a game of Texas Holdem Bonus Poker, you place an ante bet, in this case it was £2 minimum. You're dealt two cards which you can then either fold or continue to bet with. The dealer also gets two cards dealt.
To continue a bet you must place double your ante on the table. Even at £2 ante this means that a hand to play is a minimum of £6 and a run of bad cards can quickly devalue your stack. I lost £22 but it could have been easily double that but I clawed a few hands back near the end.
The flop is then dealt and you get the choice of either placing a value equal to the ante bet up of checking, which is to go to the next card without increasing the betting.
The 4th community Texas Holdem card is dealt and then the 5th where your hand is compared with the dealers and the winner takes the money in the pot. If you win all the bets you placed are doubled. Obviously, if you lose, the casino pockets the bets you placed.
Texas Holdem Bonus Poker also allows a side bet to be placed where if your two cards dealt are of certain values you will be paid out at the amounts shown on the Texas Holdem Bonus Poker table. Not being a fan of side bets, I never played any of them. Generally side bets are very much geared towards the casino and although the payouts are good, they don't come up often.
Texas Holdem Bonus Poker is one of the most enjoyable casino games available and is very popular, even though it is one of the newest table games to come onto the online casino scene. A thrilling game although with a minimum bet of £2 at Intercasino, it's not for the faint hearted and you'll have to take risks to make any headway in the game. Not recommended for beginners or those with a small bankroll but the higher betting players will enjoy it.
