Casino Tournaments
I thought I would check out the casino tournaments page tonight for some more inexpensive playing time. As a quick introduction to casino tournaments, the basics are that you pay a small fixed amount and get a set time to play a game in with a certain value. The person with the most money accumulated after the tournament end date wins first prize. Read our article casino tournaments to find out a little more about how they work.
When I entered the casino tournament lobby there was only one game in play which started today and ends in 3 days time. Funnily enough, it was Dinos Delight which had just recently played and quite enjoyed so I enrolled for the tournament.
To enroll, you just click the join button and your are charged a set amount to play, in this case it was £10 which isn't bad but I do prefer the £5 tournaments. For those looking for £5 tournaments, I recommend William Hill Casino.
Anyway, I was credited with £500 in tournament chips or money to play the tournament with and given 30 minutes to either lose all my money or get as much money accumulated as possible before the tournament ends. The winner gets a first prize of £250, second place gets £100 and the next 4 winners each claim £50.
The game started and you play it in exactly the same as the normal slots game. To be honest I had a bad run at the beginning and was down to about £200 after 5 minutes. By 10 minutes I was still about the same amount and then I stopped playing completely.
Why? Because I got 3 Dino symbols on the payline and won £71 with the added attraction of getting a chance of the bonus game. Match 3 Dinos out of the 6 eggs presented to you and you win the prize shown. My prize ended up as £1250 but the final egg tripled my winnings by 3. A good return and after I had a couple more spins, I'm sure much to Dinos Delight, I decided to wait it out. My tournament account is sitting at £3838 and the person in second place has only £504 so I'm hoping it's enough to get in the money.
I'll be watching patiently over the next few days to see how things pan out but I can rejoin the casino tournament at any time in the next 3 days if I think my lead isn't going to be enough. I can then go for broke but at the moment I'm in pole position and I'll sit and wait to see how things go. I'll be delighted if I scoop the top prize of £250.
