Bonuses and Caribbean Stud Poker
I've just come back from my holidays and was in with all the junk mail I get, which seems to be an increasing amount these days, I had an email from Intercasino UK offering me £10 free as a bonus if I came back and played with them.
Not one to look a gift horse in the mouth, I cashed in the bonus and got the £10 instantly added to my account taking the total balance now to £104.70. This shows a nice level of customer care, especially considering it's only been about 10 days since I played and really, as I have a positive balance with them anyway, it was fairly obvious that I was going to continue to play with them anyway. Still if there are happy to give me the cash, I'm more than happy to accept it and enjoy playing their casino games with it.
As I've mentioned before, I'm looking to maximise the playing time and enjoyment I get from playing the casino games in my ongoing experiement and so far Intercasino is going all out to ensure I'm happy playing with them. A nice touch.
It followed by another nice email from the Manageress at Intercasino gained another £20 into my account if I played and wagered at least 1 penny in the next week. Never one to look a gift horse in the mouth, I immediately had a few games of Caribbean Stud Poker, one of my favourite casino poker games. Such a pity that it has one of the largest house edges of them all!
I played for just over 10 minutes, which, in Caribbean Stud Poker, requires you playing a good number of hands, probably 3 or 4 hands a minute. Unfortunately that house edge got the better of me and I finished up down £19, but with the sweetener of the added £20 I didn't feel too bad.
We have the full rules of Caribbean Stud Poker and although an enjoyable and fast game, you have to watch your chip stack. A few wins by the dealer when you hit a pair and bet can quickly deplete your budget. Worth a few games though, even if just for the experience.
That's the secret of playing in an online, or off-line casino for that matter, budgetting. Stick to an amount you're prepared to lose, I look on it as how much I am prepared to pay for my entertainment in an evening. If I set an allowance of £10 or £20 for the night, that's where I stop and if my evenings entertainment was an hour or just 10 minutes, that's ok, that's the excitement of playing casino games, you may get lucky, you may not. So long as you stick to your affordable budget then everythings fine. Go over or chase your loses and your on a hiding to nothing.
Perhaps Caribbean Stud Poker isn't the best game to be playing then!
