Casino Solitaire

Tonight I decided to have a quick game of Casino Solitaire.  I love playing Solitaire on the computer and to be able to do it as well as having a gamble appeals to me lots.  I was amazed at how quickly Intercasino downloaded and installed the game.  I reckon it took about 10 seconds which, although I have broadband (one a fairly slow speed) is pretty darn good.  I was impressed anyway.

Casino Solitaire is more of less exactly the same as the game of Solitare you get bundled on most new computers and  it works the draw one rules where you get to go through the remaining cards one at a time but only once.  You can bet from £1.04 per game through to £52 per game.  The £1.04 game returns 10 pence per card put into its rightful place at the top up to £5 per card for the £52 game.  I decided on playing the game for £2.60 which returns 25 pence per card.  Each game takes roughly 5 minutes to play although some will be shorter and some longer.

It's a fun game that is one of the few casino games that actually requires a little though put into it.  I only had time for one game tonight but will be returning for more.  I ended up getting stuck after putting 13 cards “home” paying out £3.25, a return of 65 pence.  It won't make me rich but was good fun.

Before playing Casino Solitaire for real money though, I'd recommend playing a few games for fun, if you haven't played for a while, to remember some basic strategies and familiarise yourself again with the Casino Solitaire rules.  When I played, I dodn't do this and was the first few moves trying to remember in which order the cards had to go.
