Scratch Cards and Slots

It's been a long day and although you really shouldn't play casino games when you're tired, I'm not quite ready for bed yet so I logged into InterCasino again and looked for a nice simple game to play for a few minutes before I retire for the night.

I decided to try playing a few Scratch Cards first, well you can't get much simpler can you?  Intercasino has two different Scratch Cards on offer, Money Farm and High Fashion.

Being the macho guy that I am, I plumped for Money Farm (the other one was very girly and although I've nothing against girls, I decided against it in case the wife came in and thought I had gone softer than normal.)

As I said before, this experiment is to see what value I can get from playing with a relatively low initial value in the casinos so I plumped for 25 pence cards.  I know I'll not win a fortune but I'm looking for duration and fun more than anything else.

Anyway, in all I bought 15 cards, played for 5 minutes, and after opening the doors or them all (scratching) and hearing the delightful noises of the animated farm animals, and the weird farmer, I finished up £1 down on where I started.  The chances of winning large amounts of money on Scratch Cards are slim but you often win your money back and there is always the outside chance that you'll cash in up to 5000x your wager amount playing Money Farm.

Sweet Thing was next on the agenda and is classed as a 'casual game slot.'  When I downloaded it, I really didn't have a clue what to expect but it turns out to be an 8-line video slot game that has sweets are the icon symbols.

Maximum bet on this game was £80 which is a serious amount of money so I opted for 5 pence per line costing 40 pence to play 8 lines at a time although you can go as low as 1 pence per line.  This only costs 8 pence to play all 8 lines of the game.  You could really go for value and play 1 line at 1 pence but I get bored at such low levels.

If you get a winning line in this game, the symbols pay out then disappear to be replaced with new ones, so you can win multiple times with one play.  A nice feature.  The game plays very smoothly as well and is enjoyable.

I played 40 spins on autoplay, wagering £16 in total, just to see how much the return would be for £16 in bets.  The play took about 10 minutes, maybe slightly less I finished up with £113.15 in my account giving a return of £13.15 for the £16 bet.  I enjoyed the game and it's sure to see me playing again.
