Absolute Poker, one of the largest and most respected poker rooms in the industry, has announced the launching of its new upgraded Version 8 software. After months of planning and design, the site has come up with a program that will, according to the company’s senior vice-president, ‘unlevel the online poker playing field’. Players can look forward to amazing new features in Version 8, including table arrangement and alignment with one click of their mouse, three table-viewing options, faster card dealings and increased options to simplify playing at more than one poker table at a time. The software can be downloaded from Absolute Poker’s website, while existing customers will have their software automatically updated.
Major Online Poker Tournament to be Staged by Titan Poker
Poker lovers will be pleased to hear that Titan Poker, the popular online poker room, will stage the European Championship of Online Poker in November of this year. The tournament will take place over a period of ten days, with the Main Event competition offering a guaranteed prize pool of $1-million. Titan Poker will give away at least $2.5-million in total during the event. Players who wish to take part in the championships can qualify at various satellite tournaments or they can perform a direct buy-in to the event. Tournament organizers predict an exceptional event.
New Liverpool Branded Site in the Pipelines

A marketing agreement was signed recently between Wagerworks and 24hPoker Holding. 24hPoker, the top Swedish gambling company, will integrate to Wagerworks’ casino platform in order to offer Wagerworks customers an all-inclusive and reliable poker solution. In return, Wagerworks will provide 24hPoker partners access to all its casino games. The alliance agreement came after months of negotiations, with both parties expressing satisfaction over the terms. For example, Wagerworks will now be able to offer its members a top quality poker room platform without investing in the design and operation of its own poker network.
