PokerStars World Championship

One of the highlights of the online poker calender, The PokerStars World Championship of Online Poker is back and satellites to this years WCOOP events are just about to start.  The Championships are in their 6th year now and are set to be as highly competitive as ever.

The 2007 WCOOP is going to be the largest yet and have a total of 23 events for players to enter.  There are a few new events this year, Pot Limit 5 Card Draw and Fixed Limit 2-7 Triple Draw, which with the other poker tournament go to make the most mixed championships in online poker history. 

The No Limit Texas Holdem Main Event, will start with a guaranteed prize pool of $5 million with is a full $2M more than last year.
