Calculating Poker Odds
Calculating Poker Odds is a new article in our series of poker strategy articles aimed at making you a better player at the tables.
This new strategy article is fairly short giving you concise details on how to use the odds of poker hands to your advantage when playing either on or offline poker.
The strategy article tries not to dwell on actual odds and how to do the mathematics on how to work the odds out but rather how to quickly gauge your chances of having the best hand in a game of Texas Hold 'em than your opponents.
It teaches us that it's not so much the finite odds of a hand coming up and winning you the pot but concentrates on how to quickly work out reasonable chances of your hand and teaches us that you don't need to know exactly how many chips we have still on the table. A rough count of you chips will be more than sufficient for the majority of plays.
An excellent description of how to become a better player more quickly and use rough poker odds and chances to further your game.
