US Poker Players

Since the US introduced the Safe Port Act, which also regulates online gambling transactions, although we've no idea why the two are related, we've had many emails from US based players asking if any sites will still accept them.

Although, we certainly can't condone illegal operations, it seems that the gambling act doesn't actually make it illegal to gamble, although certain states have laws expressly banning online gambling. 

If you aren't in a state that explicitly bans online gambling then it seems, and remember that the law is still in the stages of review, then you should still be ok.  The new law will make actually make the payment processors responsible and unallowed to premit gambling transactions, and it seems that the onus is on them.

Ok, so where does that lead us?  Well, there are certainly sites that still allow casino or poker games to be played by US citizens.  We aren't lawyers and won't pretend to be, but if you're looking for more details of sites that may permit you to play, we've listed a few below.
