Poker Tip

Want a poker tip? Checking up on the other players can sometimes pay dividends!  If your opponents are playing at more than one table they are more likely to play a certain way.

In many of the poker rooms online, you can browse other games while you’re playing or search on a poker players name to find out if they are playing at any other tables at the same time as playing on yours.

If you find a player that is playing multiple tables, you can use this to your advantage and make a few general assumptions about how they’ll play.

Watch how they play a good hand at one table against a bad hand at another.  Over time you'll be able to work out how one hand affects the other.

As an example, players who are in multiple games have been found to be more likely to just call and less likely to bluff, unless they’re already involved in a pot. These players are also more likely to make sophisticated plays. So, adjust your strategy to play the other player better with the increased knowledge of how they play their poker hands over the two tables.
