Jamie Gold wins WSOP
Earlier today, Jamie Gold won the $12,000,000 first prize at this years World Series of Poker after a dominant win in which he knocked out 7 of the final table's 9 players.
The 2006 World Series of Poker Main Event has been won by Jamie Gold. The No-Limit Texas Hold'em Championship Event saw Jamie enter the final table with the greatest chip stack, which he held onto to win the greatest ever prize in poker, $12,000,000
Jamie is delighted with the win and being able to don one of the greatest accolades in the poker world, a World Series of Poker Bracelet.
Chris was mentored by Johnny Chan and is neighbours with Chris 'Jesus' Ferguson so his poker playing credentials are certainly worthy.
His final table play saw a mix of bluffs, controlled play and strong raises take the other players down one by one.
